Chandler, AZ (September 15, 2015) — Sand, Sun, Surf & Street Tacos! Get ready for the return of El Palacio of Chandler’s Rockin’ Taco Street Fest happening this Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 4-10 p.m.
Highlights include a newly expanded kid’s zone with more water play activities, a taco eating contest, a chance to win a trip to Ensenada and more live entertainment including Alonzo on steel drums from 4-6 p.m., reggae music from 6-8 p.m. and DJ Slippe from 8-10 p.m.
In addition to the taco eating competition, there will be a mini taco throw down between El Palacio, Elmer’s Tacos and La Canasta. Patrons can vote for their favorite taco. Then, be sure to check out all three taco slingers at the Arizona Taco Festival, October 17-18, 2015.
Admission is $5 per person, children 12 years old and under will be admitted for free. Tickets are available at El Palacio, online at www.rockintacoaz.com or at the door on the day of the event. Also, anyone that spends $25 at El Palacio of Chandler now through Saturday, will automatically receive two free admissions to the Rockin’ Taco Street Fest! Admission includes one raffle ticket for a chance to win a trip to Ensenada, Mexico. Additional tickets will be available for purchase.
Bring the entire family out, relax and unwind at this fun and festive event featuring street taco stations, a margarita hut, tequila tasting, cold beer, games, vendors, entertainment and more. The event will also feature salsa and taco competitions.
The Rockin’ Taco Street Fest is held at El Palacio of Chandler in the Crossroads Shopping Center, located at 2950 E. Germann Road, Chandler, AZ 85286.
A percentage of the proceeds from El Palacio’s Rockin’ Taco Street Fest will benefit Ballet Folklorico Quetzalli-AZ, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the awareness and education of Mexican culture through folkloric dance.
